Welcome to Holy Spirit Preschool!
We are thrilled to welcome the youngest members of our community to the Holy Spirit Family. Holy Spirit Preschool is an extension of Parish ministries and was established to meet a growing need for a quality early childhood program for the young children of the Holy Spirit Parish and the surrounding community.

We strive to meet the spiritual, physical, emotional, social and cognitive need of the whole child.

Our goal is to have a safe and loving atmosphere where a child can explore and discover through hands-on interaction with his/her environment. Opportunities will be provided to use and share existing skills and to learn new skills that will help children establish a positive self-esteem. We will approach these goals as followers of Jesus, the perfect teacher, with a sense of commitment, service, wonder and love.

Holy Spirit preschoolers are guided through play and activities from the Creative Curriculum, a comprehensive early childhood educational system that has been shown to promote the cognitive, language, social/emotional, and physical development of young children. Through this curriculum, young children learn through creative exploration of their environment as a place of research, learning, re-visitation, and reflection. Through creative play, a powerful tool for young children, the state is set for the development of the whole child in all areas: spiritual, cognitive, social, emotional and physical.

Currently, two class sessions are offered. Each curriculum is designed to meet the developmental and learning needs for that age group.

Two class sessions will be offered for the 2012-2013 school year:

    Mornings          Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday    
8:15am-11:00am
                           $175.00 a month for the 4-day class 
                           For four and five year old children who will be enrolled in
                           kindergarten the following year (2013-2014)

 Afternoons      Tuesday, Thursday and Friday                    
                               11:45am-2:15pm
                                                       $135.00 a month for the 3-day class 
                                                       Designed to meet the needs of older three & four year olds      
                                                       The different ages will participate in age appropriate activities.

Holy Spirit preschoolers will be guided through play and activities from the Creative Curriculum.

(A $100 registration fee is required to reserve your child's placement, and is non-refundable. The registration fee is applied to your child's tuition.)

Enrollment for the 2012-2013 school year begins January 16, 2012 and will be open to Holy Spirit school and parish families, as well as to current students. Open registration for non-parishioners and new families will begin February 6, 2012. Please download and print the Information Letter and Registration form.
